How many guests can you accommodate?
We can accommodate up to 150 guests outside and up to 80 guests inside including the bridal party. We can also put some tables/chairs inside and some outside. We have 2 covered decks.

Is a deposit required? When are additional payments due?
Yes. Upon signing the contract, we require a $1,000 non-refundable deposit to hold the date. 120 days prior to the event, 50% of the remaining fee is due. The final installment is required 60 days prior to your event.
Do you allow LBGTQ weddings?
Yes. We are here to support you and your union.
How do I reserve a date?
Check here to verify your date is available. Then, email firstname.lastname@example.org letting us know you are ready to book XYZ date. We hope you will book a tour with us (click here) to see the venue in person. If you live out of the area, we can provide you with a virtual tour.
Do I need to schedule a tour, or are you always open?
As the property is our private residence, we request that all tours be scheduled so that we can provide excellent personal service to you during your tour. To schedule a tour, click here. If you cannot visit us in person, we can provide you with a virtual tour. If the tour schedule options do not suit you, please email us at email@example.com to arrange a time not on the schedule.
Is there a food, beverage or guest count minimum?
No. We want you to have your choice of food and beverage options that fit your budget. Some caterers may have a reasonable minimum for specific dates.
Do we have to use your caterers?
We allow you to choose your own caterers and bar service; however, they must be licensed and maintain appropriate liability policies with El Sueño named on their policy. We provide you with suggested caterers in order to help you navigate the wedding planning process more easily. We have chosen caterers that provide you with a wide range of budget choices. How many cars will fit in your parking lot?
Do you provide table linens and serving pieces?
No. We provide the tables and chairs. You can rent linens through us for an additional charge, but this is not included in the venue rental fee. We do have 10 navy round linens we will rent for $5 each (for cleaning and ironing).
Can we supply our own alcohol for the event?
Yes. The only requirement is that all alcohol must be served from the bar by a New Mexico licensed server.
What happens if it rains?
We can accommodate 80 people at round tables in the Lodge Room. In addition, there are covered decks that can also be used. We highly recommend having a tent rental on standby and making a wedding week decision on whether or not to use a tent.
Do you allow dogs?
We do not allow dogs (other than service dogs) on the premises. You may have your dogs on the property for photos before the wedding, but they must be removed before guests arrive.
What form of payment do you accept?
We prefer a check, cash or Zelle, but we do ask for a credit card to be kept on file in case of damages to the property.
Do you provide a coordinator for the day of the wedding?
We provide event team members who are responsible for ensuring the tables and chairs are set up according to your wishes. We do provide you with a list of wedding planners/coordinators on our vendor page. Most of those planners/coordinators offer different packages, from day of planning only to a full planning package.
Are fireworks or sparklers allowed?
Our property is located in a part of New Mexico where fires are an issue. For that reason, we do not allow fireworks or sparklers.
Is smoking allowed on the property?
For the same reason we don't allow fireworks or sparklers, we provide one designated smoking area. We ask that guests extinguish cigarettes in the provided buckets of sand to avoid an accidental fire.
Do you include accommodations?
Since there may be another wedding the next day, we do not include overnight accommodations for a wedding. We are also a bed and breakfast, but we block out the bedrooms for the use of the bridal party for dressing before the wedding.
